I was at the 8th from may 89 to nov of 91.I am trying to get some info together about the 8th.I know of a cou[le others how are doing the same,maybe we can get all the info and maybe some pictures together.I have 2 photo albums,mainly of people,drinking,and a couple ftx's.Ill get them copied to disc some time.
Also have 3 tacops medals and a couple old tshirts that have somehow suvived these many years.

I was at the 8th USAFAD in Steenwijk, NL from April 1986 through July 1988. While I was there I counted down days until it was time to go back to the states. As soon as I got to the states, I missed the place.

How many duty stations would a person have to drive 30 minutes to get to the nearest PX/BX? And that was on an air force base.

Unfortunately several years ago, I lost the many photo albums that I had during a move. Most of mine were of people drinking, going to the locomotion, etc. But they showed the people of the 8th. For a unit that only had 65 members and an 8 member signal site it sure had a lot of characters.

I'd be interested in any pictures that people have showing the 8th. I think I will build a website for the 8th. A couple of other USAFAD's have them already.
