I served in A-BTRY,(A-TEAM) 2/377th FA at "HERZO BASE ROCKS THIS PLACE", from 84 to 90. I remember the early morning alerts, guard duty at SA1B (What does that acronym stand for). NATO site 23. Some of my leadership were 1LT Adams, SFC Hinkel, SFC Hill, SFC Rose, SSG Nuncio, 1SG Mitchell, 1SG Langford, SSG Sandavol, SSG Westmoreland, LT Keefer, CPT Gifford, LTC Alexander, LTC Feldmeyer, LTC TNT, LTC Kimball, SFC Campbell, CSM Farmer, CSM we called him TAZ. Herzo Base was a great time, and I am glad I found this site. | ||

Hey Torres, I remember you also. I started out in A+T and then moved to 2nd Lanch with SFC Campbell and then SFC Reed. In the section were Nuncio, Stanfield, Weems, Facilli, Dickerson, Curry, Andrade just to name a few. What have you been up to after all these years. | ||

I'm doing fine Boeres. I got out in 1992, Joined the Air National Guard, became an Aircraft Structural repair and retired in 2003, Now I'm working for the USPS as a letter Carrier and Living in Puerto Rico. I do remember your section very well, specially that crazy SFC Reed. Hope that you and your family are doing well and keep in touch. | ||

I was reclassed in 1992 and became a 12B Combat Engineer. I retired Jan 2006 and now work as a Training Developer for the United States Army Engineer School at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. |
