Just wondering whats the deal with the MOS names.
I was a 15Delta10 Lance Missile Crewmember but I also saw a site where they said they were a 13November Lance Missile Crewmember.
So whats the deal? Did they change MOS designation in the late 80's?

Anyone out there know?

When I went through the Lance Missile school in 1991 we were 13 N's

I was in while Lance crew members were being phased out (1984-1987). In AIT we went through the 15D (Lance) course. During the phase out we were given the choice of staying 15D or switching to Multipe Launch Rocket System (MLRS - 13N). I think that's how some Lance became known as 13N.

Even though I told them I wanted to stay 15D. My discharge papers classified me as "13N10 Lance Missile Crewman/MLRS Sergeant."

They didn't phase out Lance until after 92. I was in the 1/12FA at Ft. Sill and Reclassed in 92 and when I left they were just starting to reclass 13N's into 13M (MLRS).
