Hey was looking on the internet and low and behold I found this picture of Camp Pieri. It was in the 1950's Hell I was there in 1979 and it looked actally the same. When I lived on post for a short time my room was inthe bldg on the left 2nd floor one window to the left you cannot see. DAMN brings back many memories...

If you look closely the theater and the old PX and NCO club building is not in the picture! Also the motor pool had not been built yet!It looks like an orchard right now in this picture! Damn almost 4 years of my life on this post. Unbelievable!!!

Hi Ernie,

Sounds like you was there just as I was leaving. I left in March 1982 what Battery was you with? I worked S-2 if you came before I left i would had processed you into the unit. Well I was one stop in many I handled all the security clearances. I thought the after pictures of camp pierie was really cool. Could not believe the post could look that nice. I lived in Goverment housing out by the PX! Do you remember Col Yarger. Damn that man could run LOL. Well take care talk soon Robert

Greetings from Vermont. Was assigned to Service Battery 1/333RD FA under Capt. Gerald Dunham in 1973. Pix I've seen prior to its closing don't show that it has changed much.
