I served with the 1/32nd way back in 1981 through 1983. I was with Alpha Battery FDC, so as an FDC guy I
never got to go on the greece trips dang-it! After getting out I went on to get a degree at Penn State, and now I'm in Washington DC doing civil service stuff. Anybody that was at the 1/32 between 1981 and 1983 I would be real interested in hearing from.

I just missed you, I arrived B-Btry in 12/83 and stayed through 07/85. Was Sgt. Oliver and E-7 that you recall? We had an SFC Oliver, but I don't recall what his MOS was. I don't recall the battalion commander's name anymore, although an E-4 from B-Btry was his driver when I arrived. Do you have any pix?
|
that was him. SFC Oliver was 15J, Lance FDC. Tall guy with a mustache. Sorry, like a dumbass I didn't take any pics although I saw so much while there. I don't remember the commander's name either, but I remember he was an old ranger. My 1st sergent was Yutzy, a big fat german dude.

I WAS IN HEADQUARTERS BATTERY, AND WAS A GENERATOR MECHANIC, ONE OF THE OLD 55 BRAVOS BEFORE IT GOT COMBINED WITH THE WHELL VEHICLE MECHANICS. MY MOTOR SEARGANT WAS SSG STOVER. WAS ANYONE THERE DURING THAT TIME? I'D REALLY LIKE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE THERE DURING THE SAME TIME I WAS. ESPECIALLY MIKE "LOBO' FISHER AND HIS WIFE GABY, AND SSG ALBERT, OR ANYONE KNOWING HOW I CAN CONTACT THEM. DID ANYONE EVER GO TO ELMERS'S GASTHOUSE?
