The Zoo

I was in Bravo from 1980 to 1983. What a zoo man! They sent me back to Sill and made me a 13mike MLRS. Nice system, but we all missed the Lance.Take care! SD Reynolds

I was in A 3/79 1SG Williams, from 82 to 85, the zoo, boy was it a wild time back then, did four tours in D-land, Reclassed in 91 to MLRS, but started out as a 15D, then they changed us to 13N,I have allot of coins and a SPEG cover with my sections names on it, remember Crete Greece live fires?, Pops Uzo, the beaches and the girls?, or maybe you remember Reforger? Lance was fun even if it was manual labor, it was rewarding. Have fun guys, I know I still am!!!

I was in Bravo, 3/79th from about 83-85. I spent my first asssignment with the 6/33rd at Fort Sill. I was in a first fire at Sill and remember White Sands, but not as much as I remember Crete. White Sands - 28 day exercise, Crete - Work for three days, party for four. At Rivers, I was in second A&T. I didn't like the snow being from the south, so I didn't re-up. I also remember playing nickel slots at the Rendevous club, and I also remeber when CSM Bowles took charge.

WOW guys, looking at the periods you were in Giessen at rivers really makes me feel old. I was there from April 74 until Aug 78, also done a stint in crete as an evaluator when i was in FAMSEG. (83-84)

What's up, Hardchargers!!

I was at "The Zoo" from 85 to 89. I was actually a mechanic, but went with the fire platoons and A&T to Crete in 86 & 87 since they were short crew members......what a blast!! Hot as hell, but worth every minute!! Remember "Zorba's??"

What about the "50-50" and the "Pupille" clubs?? Lord, those were THE days!!

I'm still here in Germany.....anyone feel free to drop me a line if you like!!

I was in Alpha 3/79 from 83-85. 1st Fire. I remember 1SG Campbell, SSG Prader, Sgt Hess, Sgt. Wright, Weiss, Chevy, Carey. Walking across the parade field in Class A and duffle bag as a fresh E-1 and every one hanging out the windows yelling 'Cruit! at the top of their lungs. Ah yes the 50/50 club, The Mot, Neu Rock, Big Apple, Zorba's and Pop's in Crete. Outstanding Gyros. Hey, Sgt. George Chew, I remember you. You liked to draw new car designs and what not. Pretty good to.

Not sure. When I PCSd back to FT SIll in spring of '85 that was the last I saw of him. I think he may have ETS from Germany. I think he was from the state of Washington. I remember he and I totally blasted after missile away party outside of Zorba's getting into a slap fight :)
