Any one have any stories they would like to share?? And is it even still there.

I remember going to Nuremberg with some buddies and stopping at Fanny’s for a beer before visiting the wall. It was still early in the day but one of my pals got really drunk and was passing out. As it was early and we didn’t want to drag him along with us, we got him a room at the gastehaus above Fanny’s and locked him inside. After an afternoon of sight seeing, we returned to a commotion outside the gastehaus. Our friend had awakened and was not a happy camper. He was throwing things out of the window (bedding, tables etc.). We were finally able to rescue him and get him out of there. On the way back to the train we walked down the wall. Our friend was still pretty drunk and was messing with the girls along the way. There was a guy that was watching us and was apparently protecting the girls. Next thing I new he had a straight razor at my throat telling me I was a dead man. I was pulling away from him saying “no way” while my friends were standing on the corner watching. By the time they could react I had pulled away and he had slipped into a crowd of Turks standing along the wall. I was ready to get the hell out of there as quickly as possible. I think that was the last time I went to the wall.
