Just like Todd B, I served in Korea.

Yes, B Btry fisrt stationed at Cp.Mercer but moved to Cp.Stanley on May,1989.

Hey, Old Folks!
I was a KATUSA crew. Remember? Korean Augmentation to U.S. Army. I was NBC clerk of B btry 6/32 FA at those times.

Now I work as a park ranger in the national parks of the republic.

It was really great plessure for me to find this web page on internet and downloaded some great lance pictures.

I remember my btry BC ; Cpt. Newman('89),Cpt.Bradford('90). 1SG Ward(1989), 1SG Sterling(1990). And my roommate was spc. Hatcher. And SGT Fernandez at A&T, PV2 Chavez at Survey are also my good friends. I'm missing you all guys!

I hope to get in touch with thoes who served in Korea. Show me that you old folks are still alive. Send me some e-mail.

served in korea 12/90-1/92.lt. hestons firing platoon. we had planned on firing 24 lance missles,i discovered 1 leaking when we pulled it out the bunker at the motor pool.went to the coast to fire 23 and 1 miss fired on the track and we had to "march order"that one. i laid 12 of the lance missles fired there and had the pleasure of hitting the fire switch on 3 of those as well.mlrs put on a killer show the first day as well.its been awhile since i thought about those days.i took the early out at sill.

Hyun!!! Of course I remember you! This is Sgt Lindahl of 2nd Fire... It's difficult to believe that's it's been over 14 years since we were in B Btry. Korea is a tough assignment for U.S. soldiers. It's not easy being that far away from family and friends. I like to think that I made the best of it. I sure did have a lot of fun!! And you KATUSA soldiers were a pleasure to work with. Those that were in my platoon, Sgt Kim, Sgt Jung, Pvt Kim, were very good people. But one stands out above the rest. Sgt Sohn, Sung Chul is one of the most intelligent, thoughtful people that I have ever met. I have no doubt that he is successful in whatever field that he has chosen. I would be very interested to hear about what he and all of our Korean soldiers are doing now. Drop me a line!! Sincerely, Stan

This is spec4 Gushwa. I got there in 6/32 in April 1991. I remember a lot of the guys and KATUSAS mentioned above. It's been over 15 years. I was in the section with Dakanay and Ayers. In my first days in the battery Ccpl Sohn and Private Ahn were my roomates. Later I moved in with Spec4 Elmore and Kim YS and later Kim BC. Also Cpl Kang and Jung were in the section. Here is a picture of Jung and Kim on a field exercise and me with an SP at the gate opposite the ville http://wiley2-5fa.com/SAVE0129.JPG http://wiley2-5fa.com/SAVE0781.JPG

Hey B. K. Hyun. I served in B Battry 6/32 from 1988 to 1989. I don't know if you were there when I was there. I left Camp Mercer in March of 1989. I stayed behind for about a month and a half after the group I served with because I had to wait for my Drill Sergeant School date. I helped the group you were with to in-process and get their feet on the ground. I left while they were at Team Spirit. I enjoyed Korea and I enjoyed serving with the KATUSA crew. SGT Kim and and another KATUSA (can't remember his name) were in my firing section (2nd Fire). It has been about 16 years since I was there. I am glad that the Americans left a good impression with you and we were proud to have served with such a great force (KATUSA'S). I hope you are doing well and I wish you great prosperity for the future...SSG Gove

I served in Korea from 1988 to 1989. Are you SGT Park, who was the Senior KATUSA? If that is you, I remember you. I was the Section Chief for 2nd Fire and then A&T Platoon. SFC Campbell and SFC Magua were there at that time as Platoon Sergeants. I stayed back when my Battery left and I helped to in-process the next Battery to take over. Hope to hear from you....Ken

Hi Ken Gove !!! Sorry, I can't remember you exactly. I was adminstration section with SGT Baik, the Korean- American GI, 1ST£Íunoz and BC Cpt Bourque. 1SG and BC was the PeurtoRican. They speak the spanish when something was reluctant to be known to us.

The senior KATUSA was SGT LEE D.H. the my army chum, at that time.

I miss SP4 GRATT the BC Driver who lived next to my room in the barracks.

It is amazing to contact old army fellow via Internet and I also hope to touch with our old LANCE KATUSA in soon.
