i was stationed at Camp Pieri from June 1973 to January 1975 in A battery. Some of the best and craziest times of my life. still alive and still in Boston Mass.

Hey Rick, I was stationed on Camp Pieri also, but long after you (88-92). What are you doing up in Boston? After I hung my boots up for good I lived there for a few years.

Joe, good to hear from you.lived in and around Boston all my life.been working in the post office since 1979.stumbled onto this site a few days ago.brought back a flood of memories.tried to find some history on camp pieri during nazi times.all i could find out was that it was called Freudenberg Kaserne. i was told while stationed yhere that it was a ss communication post ??? also heard of an underground motor pool or whatever under Pieri.heard of some guys going down there.never got a chance to check it out...

Wow, I was in the same Battery during my stay and heard the stories about the underground facilities also. I used to manage the security for Fleet Finincial until Bank of America took over. I am back in Lawton now and don't miss the NE winters at all.
