I was with A Btry, survey section from our arrival in Germany in late l953 until discharge in Jan. l956. Stationed in a kaserne near Worms (Marnheim) until we moved to Neckarsulm in l954. Have only found Sgt. Chester Ball as a "alumnus" of the Btry. He was at the Nevada test site in early l953 and went to Europe with the BN. Interesting video of the test on You Tube. Just insert "atomic cannon" and the 867th group will roll into view. Great video. I havereceived several FA manuals from the Atomic Museum in Albuquerque. Great material.
